I was on a Reality TV Show!!!!

You guys are going to hear SO much about this throughout the coming weeks if you’re following me on Instagram and Facebook.

Early September I flew out to PA, as I was one of 8 contestants chosen to be on season 2 of The Ultimate Gift Wrapping Challenge. The premiere is November 2nd on QVC+!

It was an amazing, stressful, once in a lifetime opportunity. The days were long, We were on location for approximately 12 hours each day for 5 days. During that time, we filmed 8 episodes. Breakfast and lunch were catered and their craft service kept us stocked on snacks throughout the day. I ate more peppermint patties that week than I have in 5 years. They were one of my moms favorite candies and for whatever reason helped ease my stress which was nice because there was a lot of it.

The judges, Jane Means, Alton Delaney, and Lauren McBride made me want to buy a brand new wardrobe or ask them if they could just give me theirs but in a bigger size.

The 8 of us contestants shared a hair and makeup artist, Rosa. Rosa had us showing up a better version of ourselves and she did it in such a short amount of time. I wish I could have taken her home with me.

The location, The Tyler Arboretum, was beautiful & tranquil which I know myself and the other contestants were thankful for. As the competition heated up, the grounds offered comfort and a grounding place to pull ourselves together. The stone barn where filming took place is regularly used for weddings. It had exposed wood beams, mottled walls, wood floors, and large doors that swing open. QVC set it up beautifully for the holiday premiere and had it feeling cozy.

I'll be sharing more so stay tuned.
